Kathleen Huskins Morris Hall, age 91 of Upper Huskins Rd, Bakersville, NC passed away November 30, 2014 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, NC. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Charlie and Creanie Gouge Huskins. She was retired from Belk Department Store in Spruce Pine, NC where she worked for twenty seven years. Kathleen was the oldest member of Lily Branch Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher. She was also the oldest member of The Bakersville Ruritan Club. She loved her flowers, reading, and traveling.

Survivors include; two sons; Rickey Morris, of Spruce Pine, NC, and L. Charles (Hotshot) Morris and wife Linda, of Bakersville, NC, two daughters; Carolyn Wise and fiance Tom Sparks, of Newland, NC, and Marilyn Sparks and husband Richard, of Bakersville, NC, one brother; Robert (Bobby) Huskins and wife Bertha, of Bakersville, NC, seven grandchildren; Mike and Marty Wise, Lori Huskins, Kristie Sparks, Corey Morris, Chealssea Morris, and Tracey Hollifield, and seven great grandchildren, a special niece Giovanna Peterson, and Phillip of Mt Holly, NC, a special sister in law; Virginia Morris, of Bluefield, West Virginia, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; Lewis L. Morris and Ray Hall, six brothers, two sisters, and a son in law; Davis Wise.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 7:00PM in Lily Branch Baptist Church with Toby Crowder and Matthew Grindstaff officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until the service time. Interment will be Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00AM at Lily Branch Baptist Church Cemetery .
