Joseph Dwayne Dunn, 54 of Bakersville, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 . He was the son of the late Joe and Eva Pittman Dunn and was a member of Cane Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister, Janis Dunn Pitman of Bakersville; nephews: Vince Ward and wife Wendy Buchanan of Bakersville and Brent Ward and wife Ashley of Spruce Pine; grand nephews: Erin and Brody Ward.

Memorial services will be 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 12, 2015 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Home with Marvin Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
