John William Harzarik, age 81, of Harrell Hill Rd. Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord, January 17, 2021. He was a native of Baltimore, MD and a Veteran of The United States Army serving in Germany and was also a Veteran of The Tennessee National Guard. He was retired from Henredon Furniture where he was an assistant supervisor in the cabinet room.

John enjoyed his church, his family, and his friends. He also enjoyed his dog "Max".

Survivors include: his wife Billie J. Webb Harzarik, of the home, one daughter, Michelle Renee Swann (William Michael), one sister, Anna Yokum, two grandsons; Dustin Michael Swann and Colton Sean Swann.

He was preceded in death by: his parents William and Eva Brown Harzarik, and one brother, Daniel Harzarik.

Private family services will be held with Revs. Russell Hughes and Dustin Sturgill officiating. Military Honors will be provided by The North Carolina National Guard Honor Guard. Interment will be in Red Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
