Jimmie Bruce Burleson, age 73, of the Glen Ayer Community, Bakersville, NC passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at his home. He was the son of the late Jack and Juanita Cook Burleson. Jimmie retired from Unimin Corp in Spruce Pine and he also did millwright work years ago. He was also a member of Little Rock Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Ledford Burleson of the home; daughter, Jaime Burleson of Bakersville; son, Dylan Burleson of Bakersville; brother, Jerry Burleson of Johnson City, TN; aunt, Toots Conover of Roseville, CA, a grandson, Jack Danner, granddaughter, Angel, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
