Jesse Hoilman Jr, age 64 of Snow Creek Rd, Bakersville, NC passed away December 30, 2012 at his home. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a son of the late Jess and Dollie Duvall Hoilman.

He was a Veteran of The United States Army and was retired from Crane Resistoflex as  a Tool and Die Maker. He was a Member and Deacon at White Oak Baptist Church.

He was a devoted husband, father, and pawpaw, and was also an avid deer hunter.

Survivors include; his wife; Linda Byrd Hoilman, of the home, one daughter; Michelle Hoilman Rathbone and husband Reverend Chris Rathbone, one son; Brian Jess Hoilman, of Bakersville, NC, one sister; Billie Lane Garland, of Bakersville, NC, two brothers; Charles Bridge, of Bakersville, NC and Conard Bridge, of Union Bridge, ND, five grandchildren; Kyler, Kaleb, and Kolton Hoilman, Gabriel, and Reuben Rathbone.

He was preceded in death by one sister; Barbara Jean Shorb, and one brother; Clifford Yelton.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 7:00PM in the chapel of Henline – Hughes Funeral home with Don Ford and Cris Rathbone officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 2:00PM.
