Janice Carolyn Ledford, age 68 of Hillmont Drive , Johnson City , TN passed away September 29, 2015 . She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Dewey and Texie McKinney Ledford. She was retired as a Dental Assistant and was also a Homemaker. Janice was a member of Martindale Baptist Church in Johnson City , TN.

Survivors include; her husband; Lawrence B. Ledford, of the home, two sons; Bradley Ledford (Linda), of Sylva, NC and Brian Ledford (Sandra), of Johnson City, TN, one sister; Judy Hyder, of Elizabethton, TN, one brother; Les Ledford, of Johnson City, TN, three grandchildren; Hannah, Savannah, and Ella Ledford.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her brother, Leonard Ledford.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Regional Cancer Center at Johnson City Medical Center and to all the staff and nurses there especially nurse Vickie.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2:30PM in Morris Baker Funeral Home with Garry Edwards, and Elbert Storie officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until the service time at Morris Baker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Johnson City , TN.
