James Craig Lamson, age 75, of Burnsville , NC passed away on November 20, 2016 at his home. A native of Waterford , Michigan , he was the son of the late Dale and Phyllis Lamson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Craig Lamson.

James is survived by his wife, Janice Kay Lamson of the home; daughters: Julie Lamson of Michigan , Taylor Lamson of Burnsville and Tina Tomes of Bakersville; sons: Brandon James Lamson and Joshua Allen Lamson both of Burnsville and Richard James McAllister of Asheville ; eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Larry Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Bakersville Memorial Cemetery . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
