James Adam "G" Garland, age 34 of North Hwy 226 (Buladean Community), passed away October 19, 2015 . He was employed with Jerry Byrds' Logging. He attended Fosters Creek Baptist Church . His hobbies were horseback riding, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include; his mother; Verlyn Williams Garland, of Bakersville, NC, and his father; Elmer Garland, of Burnsville, NC, one brother; Daniel Garland, and wife Barbara, of Bakersville, NC, maternal grandmother; Etta Williams, of Burnsville, NC, a nephew; Hunter Garland, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a family friend; Darrell Burleson.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Louie Williams, and his paternal grandparents Doss and Pearl Garland.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 7:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Kevin Laws and Wayne Rice officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00AM at Garland Parker Cemetery .
