Dateline: Bakersville, NC

Jack Arthur Boston, of Bakersville, NC passed away July 1, 2021 at his home. He was a son of the late Robert and Dorothy Carpenter Boston. He was retired from Mitchell County Department Of Sanitation. Jack loved music and enjoyed writing songs and singing at church.

Survivors include: his wife Brenda Burleson Boston, one son Harold Wiley Boston, three sisters Marie Ledford, Wanda Owens Denver, and Judy Burleson (Eddie), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his son Jason Boston, two brothers Bill and Phillip Carpenter, and sisters Ruth Pittman and Roberta Nanney.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 2:00PM at Lily Branch Cemetery with Reverend Larry Greene officiating.
