Holly Cheyanne Burleson, age 28, of the Glen Ayre Community, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024 at her home. She was the daughter of David and Sherri Burleson.

Holly was a miracle from God from the very beginning of her life. She always had a smile and was always happy and she never met a stranger. Holly loved attention and was a joy to be around. She also loved going on car rides and ice cream, and she attended Little Rock Creek Baptist Church.

Holly is survived by her parents, David and Sherri Burleson; her paternal grandparents, Mack and Carolyn Burleson; uncles and aunts, Phillip Burleson and Dennis and Belinda Burleson, Bryon Burleson, Jackie Cook and Audrey Styles; cousins, Matthew Burleson, Dakota Burleson, Brianna Burleson, Maggie Lee Burleson and Daniel Burleson.

Holly was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kenneth Burleson and Wanda Jane and William Cook, and her uncle, Fred William Cook.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2:30PM in Little Rock Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Keith Beck and Reverend John McKinney officiating. A time of fellowship and a meal will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
