Herbert Hoilman, 76 of Bakersville, NC passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Ralph and Dorothy Phillips Hoilman. Herbert was a retired machinist.  And he loved to fish, hiking in the woods and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; sisters: Betty Wilcox, Debra Weiford and Doris Hoilman; and his brother, Albert.

Survivors include his daughters: Monica Yokubinas (Rick) of Kentucky, Melanie Williams (Rob) of Rosedale, MD, and Lisa Trott (Lee) of Middle River, MD; his sons, Michael Hoilman (Tammie) of South Carolina and Jeffrey Hoilman (Koryn) of Kingsville, MD; sisters, Hettie Wilcox and Nora Nell Wayson both of Bakersville; brothers, Robert Hoilman and Ralph Hoilman Jr both of Bakersville; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A public viewing will be on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 12 to 1:00 PM in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM in the Hoilman Family Cemetery on Sweet Creek Rd with Brett Hoilman and Skip Weiford officiating. Everyone is asked to follow COVID-19 guidelines.
