Henry M. Burleson, 79, of Bakersville, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Care Partners Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Asheville , NC . He was the son of the late Frank and Minnie Dellinger Burleson and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church . He was also the owner and operator of Bakersville Pallet Company.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene G Burleson of Bakersville; sons: Ronnie Dean Burleson and wife Teal and Randy Lee Burleson all of Bakersville; daughters: Deborah Ann Burleson of Charlotte and Janet Street and husband Randall of Bakersville; sisters: Irene Fulbright of Icard, NC, Betty Huffman of Valdese, NC and Frankie Murphy of Green Mtn, NC; brother, Howard Burleson of Bakersville; grandchildren: Miranda Boseman, Jessica Burleson, Margaret Burleson and Rebecca Street; one great grandchild, Latavian Boseman. Henry was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Burleson; brothers: Leonard, Harold, Jeter and George Burleson; and one sister, Ruth Braswell.

Funeral services will be 8:00 pm Monday, June 8, 2015 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Ronnie Gouge and Shane Gunter officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday in the Cane Creek Cemetery .
