Helen Ollis Wilson, age 86 of Wilson Rd, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord April 16, 2017. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Earl and Pearl Ingram Ollis.

She was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Hampshire Hosiery. She enjoyed working in her flowers, gardening, and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include: one brother; Billy Lee Ollis, of Spruce Pine, NC, two sisters; Elizabeth Crowder, of Spruce Pine, NC, and Joyce Jean Ollis, of High Point, NC, two grandchildren; Daniel Hodge, of Estatoe, NC, and Jamie Wilson, of Bakersville, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by: her husband; James A. Wilson, her son; Harold Van Wilson, and one infant child, two sisters; Lucille Duncan, and Zora Burleson, and three brothers; Howard, Ernest, and Roy Ollis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral home with Reverend Don Ford officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Snow Hill Cemetery.
