Helen June Garland, age 71, of Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Gladys Masters Miller. Helen attended Ridge View Presbyterian Church as long as her health would allow. She enjoyed hiking, fishing and reading her bible. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Grindstaff.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jerry Garland and her brother Doug Miller and his wife Linda and their family.

A Celebration of Life service will be on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 5:00 PM in the Ridgeview Presbyterian Church on Ridgeview Rd, Bakersville, NC. Everyone is welcome to attend.
