Haseltine H. Odom, 82 of Bakersville, the Buladean Community, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the Cornerstone Village in Johnson City . She was the daughter of the late Frank and Ettie Hughes Honeycutt and the wife of the late Lawrence Odom. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Estaline Byrd and brothers: F.D. and Delma Gene Honeycutt. Haseltine attended Odoms Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and was a member of the Bakersville Eastern Star #29.

Survivors include her daughter, Marcella Street of Bakersville; grandson, Kevin Street and wife Kristi of Bakersville; great granddaughter, Haley Nicole Street ; and brothers: Ronald Gene Honeycutt of Bostic , NC and  Elmer Honeycutt and wife Jean of Ellenboro , NC .

Funeral Services will be 2:30 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery on Blevins Branch Road . The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the service hour.
