Glenn Lee Hawley, 84, of Atlanta, GA, passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2024. Born on March 16th, 1940, in Adrian, MI, Lee was a devoted and hardworking man who led his life with quiet strength, dignity, and love for his family.
A man of few words but immense wisdom, he was always there to offer support to those he cared about. He is remembered for his dedication, sense of humor, and a heart that, though often tough, beat deeply with love and kindness for his family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife Ellen of 51 years, son Andy and his wife Anna, his granddaughter Astri, and many other beloved family members and friends who will forever cherish his guidance and the many lessons he imparted throughout his life. His memory will remain in the hearts of those he touched with his generosity, love, and quiet presence.
A graveside service to honor Lee's life will be held on Monday September 9th at 1:00PM at Malone Gouge Cemetery with Reverend Dwight Winkley officiating and Sgt EL Randolph Chapter 57 DAV providing military honors.
