Gerry Lee Garland, age 43 of Melton Rd , Bakersville , NC passed away December 21, 2014 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital . He was a member of Beans Creek Church Of Jesus Christ and was self employed with Garland Logging.

Survivors include; his parents; G. B. and Regina Rhinecker Garland, of Bakersville, NC, his daughter; Ashley Renee Garland, of Bakersville, NC, one sister; Donna Garland Yelton and husband Chad, of Bakersville, NC, two brothers; Kurt Bradley Garland and Joshua Landon Garland and wife Amy, of Bakersville, NC, a special friend; Tonya McCoyle, nieces and nephews; Brianna Buchanan, Emily Garland, Zackery Yelton, and Landon Garland; also a great niece, Braylee Grace, although she isn't born yet, Gerry was looking forward to seeing her.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 26, 2014 at 8:00PM in Beans Creek Church Of Jesus Christ with Stokes Cooke, David Byrd, and Larry Garland officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church. Interment will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00AM at Beans Creek Cemetery .
