Geraldine "Gerri" Turbyfill Murdock born 1-11-1938 peacefully passed away 5-17-2022 in Bakersville. Formally of Charlotte, N.C., and a retiree of The Duke Endowment, she lived out her last few years in her beloved Mitchell County being cared for at B&L Family Home. Her children and grandchildren benefited throughout their lives from her love and support. Her family will be forever grateful for the kind care and love she received from Luella and Billy Buchanan. A family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
