Georgia Rathbone Riddle, 86, of Burnsville, NC passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 in Mission Hospital. She was the daughter of the late George and Bessie McKinney Rathbone. She was a former employee of Ellen Knitting Mill. Georgia attended Burleson Chapel Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Riddle and granddaughter, Jennifer Garland.

Georgia loved her family very much which include: her sons, Doug Bryant and wife Anita and Gary Bryant and wife Gayla all of Burnsville; her daughter, Velma Thacker and husband Gene of Erwin, TN; sisters, Trula Gardner of Bakersville, Rosa Lee Ledford, June Frye, and Brenda Freeman all of Spruce Pine, NC; grandchildren: Aleschie Miller, Brandon Bryant (Amanda), David Bryant (Leslie), Adam Miller (Christy), and Kenny Bryant (Mandy); great grandchildren: Jasmine Garland, Levi Bryant, Haven Bryant, Charlee Bryant, and Verity Miller.

Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Monday, November 22, 2021 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Adam Miller and Terry Jones officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Green Young Cemetery.
