Gayle Marie Ledford, 67, of Hickory passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center.

She was born February 2, 1949 in Mitchell County to Eugene Ledford of Hickory and the late Doris Wheat Ledford. Gayle was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Hickory.

A service to celebrate Gayle's life will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church in Hickory. Rev. Greg Simpson will officiate. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Wilson Cemetery in Bakersville. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church.
