Gary Wayne Freeman, age 52, of Richmond Avenue, Bakersville, NC, went home to be with the Lord, February 27, 2019. He was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church, and was formerly employed as a Rock Mason, and Millwright Worker.

Survivors include: his mother, Faye Freeman, of Bakersville, NC, his brother, Greg Freeman (Amanda), of Little Switzerland, NC, his nephew, Gabriel Hoilman, two uncles; Ronnie Callahan, and Eddie Wayne Callahan, one aunt, Elaine Freeman, several cousins, special friend, Kenneth Wyatt, and many other special friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Edward Freeman.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Randy Wise and Neil Payne officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Red Hill Baptist Cemetery.
