Fred Campbell, 85 years old, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 after a long illness. He retired after 50 years of road construction as a well known superintendent.

He was the husband of the late Georgia Davis Campbell who passed away in 2002. He was also preceded in death by sister, Ruth Yelton and brothers: Frank Campbell and Albert Campbell.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia C. Pate; grandson, Ross Pate and wife Jennifer; 1 great grandson, Zachary Pate; sisters: Gladys Maupin and Edna Owens.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in the chapel of Morris Baker Funeral Home. Burial will be at 11:00 am Thursday in the Washington County Memory Gardens .
