Faye Queen, age 70 of Northside Rd., Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord November 19, 2020. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Cart and Mae Edwards Garland. She was employed with Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation.

Faye loved her family and was very dedicated to her sons and also enjoyed her flowers.

Survivors include two sons , Preston and Jerome Queen both of Bakersville, NC, three sisters; Alice Garland and Rebecca Clemons both of Bakersville, NC, and Stella Brown of Kinston, NC, one brother Leonard Garland.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Jerry Queen, a sister Betty Lowe and brothers; Dallas, George, Tipton, Carlos and James Garland.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 2:00PM at Garland - Greene Cemetery with Reverend Don Bowman officiating.
