Faye E. Griffith age 87, of the Tipton Hill Community, Green Mountain , NC went home to be with the Lord February 12, 2016 . She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Ed and Delia Jones Ellis.

She was a member of Lower Brummetts Creek Church of The Brethren, and also a member of Gideon's International Ladies Auxiliary in Spruce Pine, NC. She was a faithful and devoted wife and business partner to her husband; the late Frank Griffith. Together they owned and operated Griffith 's General Store in the Tipton Hill Community.

Survivors include; her daughter; Martha Simpson and husband David, of Morganton, NC, her son; Jerry Griffith and wife Kim, of Green Mountain, NC, two grandchildren; David Griffith, and Amanda Ledford and husband Aaron, and one great grandchild; Madison Ledford.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by; her husband Franklin (Frank)Wade Griffith, and a brother; Reverend Frank Ellis.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 at 8:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Jeff Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 1:00PM at Tipton Hill Cemetery .
