Faye Helen Buchanan, age 92, of Bakersville, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Troy and Elizabeth Buchanan Hoilman and the wife of the late Jack M. Buchanan. Faye was a member of Bakersville Baptist Church and she will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Josephine McKinney, Lois Greene, Howard, Wade, Bruce and Sherril Hoilman.

Survivors include two daughters: Carolyn Floyd (Jim) and Diane Gouge (Gene) of Bakersville; sister in law, Vada Hoilman; grandchildren: Cheri Grindstaff, Melissa Hoilman, Jennifer Buchanan and  Amanda Honeycutt; great grandchildren: Jessica Grindstaff, Isaac Hoilman, Emma Honeycutt, Cole Honeycutt, Alexis Hoilman, and Autumn Buchanan.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday, August 6, 2019 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Trent Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and burial will follow the service in the Bakersville Memorial Cemetery.
