Evelyn Marie Morgan, age 84, of the White Oak Community, Bakersville, NC passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Bristoe and Ethel Stanley Yelton and the wife of the late Bill Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Juanita Shuffler and Edith Street and brothers, George Yelton and James Yelton; two grandsons, Ian Ferguson and J.P. Morgan. She was a member of the Mine Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons: Allan Morgan (Tammy) of Spruce Pine, NC, Gregory Lee Morgan, and Jerry Morgan (Patti) of Bakersville; daughter, Kathy Goldberg (Tim) of Bakersville; sister, Shelby Jean Street (Ronnie) of Bakersville; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 6:00 PM Saturday, July 13, 2019 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Ronnie Gouge and Tommy Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
