Eva Pittman Dunn

Eva Pittman Dunn, age 82, of Hazen Ledford Road, Bakersville, NC, passed away November 4, 2010 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Charles and Fleeta Burleson Pittman and a member of Cane Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include; her daughter, Janis Dunn of the home, son, Joey Dunn also of the home, one sister, Mattie Pittman, of Bakersville, NC, two grandchildren, Vince and Brent Ward, and two great grandchildren, Erin and Brody Ward.

She was preceded in death by, her husband, Joe L. Dunn, three sisters, Madge Holtsclaw, Una and June Pittman, seven brothers, Aron, Harold, C.R., Ray, Harper, Clyde, and Warren Pittman.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM in Henliune-Hughes Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 2:30PM in Cane Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Jimmy Arrowood and Marvin Hensley officiating.  The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Cane Creek #2 Cemetery.
