Ethel Hoilman, age 72 of McKinney Cove Rd, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord May 27, 2017 . She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Glen and Mae Mosley Banks.

Ethel was a member of Grace Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include: her husband; George Hoilman, of the home. two daughters; Pamela Honeycutt (Dustin), of Johnson City, TN, and Paula Doan (Paul), of Bakersville, NC, eight sisters; Thelma Lovelace, Pearl Yelton, Helen Yelton, Mary Garland, Myrtle Butler, Diane Farley, Josie Garland, and Wanda Hope Yelton, two brothers; Ronnie and Marshall Banks, and three grandchildren; Josh, Jeremy, and Jared Doan.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by two brothers Russell and Edmund Banks.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 29, 2017 at 8:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Gouge officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00AM at Bailey Cemetery .
