Eric Kurt Miller, age 60, of Kurtland Revels Rd, Bakersville, NC passed away July 19, 2018 at his home. A native of Mitchell County, NC he was a son of the late Ed and Bonnie Stevens Miller. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was previously employed as a Millwright at several Nuclear Power Plants. He was a member of Little Rock Creek Baptist Church, and loved his constant pet companion dogs; Waylon, Willie, Sadie, and Chi. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed music, and sports. He was a friend to all and had a lifetime value of hard work.

Survivors include; his wife; Libby Ferguson Miller, of the home, two sons; Kurt Miller (Jennifer), of Johnson City, TN, and Kaleb Miller (Heather), of Jonesborough, TN, three brothers; Richard Miller, and Stevie Miller, of Bakersville, NC, and Floyd Miller, of Easley, SC, five grandchildren; Kylie Miller, Jackson Miller, Luke Miller, Kara Miller, and Kate Miller.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Toby Crowder officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bakersville Memorial Cemetery with Sgt. EL Randolph Chapter 57 DAV conducting military honors.
