Emilie Ann (LeeAnn) Davenport , 68, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014 .

She was born to the late Michael Daniel Petrosky and Emilie Scarano Petrosky of Bakersville , North Carolina , on August 7, 1946 in New London , Connecticut . LeeAnn graduated from Balboa High School , in the former Panama Canal Zone in 1964. She married Eric W. Davenport in Elizabeth City, North Carolina on November 27, 1970 .

Eric and LeeAnn lived in the Panama Canal Zone for 15 years, then spent 15 years in Sunrise , Florida before moving to LeeAnn's dream home in Bakersville , North Carolina in December of 2003.

LeeAnn and Eric purchased a software development company in January of 1997 where she served as the Chief Financial Officer, Office Manager and Trade Show Coordinator.

LeeAnn has been active in all the churches she was a member of  working as a catechism teacher, Eucharistic minister and in any other activity where she could use her talents.

LeeAnn is survived, in addition to her mother, by her husband, Eric of Bakersville, North Carolina; her sons, Eric Michael Davenport of Frederick, Maryland and Robert John Davenport of  Sarasota, Florida; her daughter, Emilie Danielle Lenzen of Mebane, North Carolina. She is also survived by six grandchildren.

A funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the St. Lucien Catholic Church in Spruce Pine, North Carolina . Reverend Christopher Gober will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Friday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home.
