Elva Bennett, 94, of Wildersville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in Jackson, TN. A native of Mitchell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Lassie Barnett Peterson.

Elva is survived by her daughter, Ada Whaley and husband Dennis of Wildersville; sisters: Janie Jones and Nora McCury both of Green Mountain, NC, Ann Asburn of Erwin, TN and Dona Robinson of Greenville, TN; brother, Mack Peterson of Green Mountain and 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2:30 pm Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Cemetery in Pigeon Roost. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
