Dateline: Marion, NC

Elizabeth Ann Silvers Buchanan, age 80, of Village Circle, Marion, NC went home to be with the Lord December 2, 2019. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Claude and Mary Johnson Silvers.

Survivors include: two sons; Tommy and Jimmy Buchanan, both of Marion, NC, three brothers; Dean Silvers, of Marion, NC, Lee Silvers, of Bakersville, NC, and Dennis Silvers, of Spruce Pine, NC, and one grandchild; Kayla Buchanan.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband; Archie Buchanan, and one sister; Barbara Howell.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Mark McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Silver Chapel Cemetery.
