Edward (Ed) Joseph Young Jr., age 74 of Windy Valley Drive, Burnsville, NC passed away September 16, 2019. He was a son of the late Edward and Lucille Robinson Young and attended Martins Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and was self employed in farming. He loved to tinker outside mowing and tending to his property.

Surviving is his loving wife of fifty years, Vada Ann Lane Young, of the home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Will Winters officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Lily Branch Cemetery.
