Edna Sparks Masters, 97, of Erwin, TN passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in the Erwin Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Greene Sparks of Bakersville, NC. She was a member of 9th Street Baptist Church a was a former Dietary Manager for Unicoi County High School. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, John Leo Masters; daughter, Carolyn Adams and husband, Dr. James Richard Adams; grandson, James Mark Adams; sisters: Myrtle Parker, Ester Ledford, Mae Burleson and Bonnie Byrd; brothers: Grover, Ernest, Milt, Luther, and Jess Sparks.

Survivors include her son, Johnny L. Masters of Erwin; grandchildren: Bethany Walser (Randy) and Sydney Bennett; great grandchildren: Loni Walser, Jakson Shelton and Bryce Bennett.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 13, 2018 in the Evergreen Mausoleum Chapel located in the Evergreen Cemetery in Erwin. Rev. Chuck Shipley will officiate. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
