Edward Hoilman "Edd", age 80, of Bakersville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Edd was the son of the late Cornie and Grace Hoilman of Bakersville. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Edd was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce, J.C., Bob, Arthur, and Ronnie Hoilman and sisters, Louise Burleson and Helen Hoilman.

Edd is survived by his brother, Wayne Hoilman of Burnsville and sisters, Dot Stevens (Roger) of Bakersville and Carol Pendley (Randy) of Spruce Pine and Bett Wade of West Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to thank the hospice nurses, social workers, Mike and Amanda and all the staff of Brian Center in Spruce Pine and his caregiver, Gail Lamb.

Edd was a very loving and kind man and was loved by all.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 27, 2022 in the Bailey Cemetery, John Sparks Road, Bakersville with Rev. Andy Willis officiating.
