Dateline: Hickory, NC

Douglas Eugene Robinson, age 73, of Hickory, NC passed away May 17, 2018. He was a native of Lenoir, NC and a son of the late John and Louella Hollar Robinson. He was previously employed as a Designer with McKinley Leather in Claremont, NC and was a Veteran of The United States Army. He was a member of Pine Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include: a sister Sandra Woody, of Spruce Pine, NC, two brothers; Frederick Robinson, of Marion, NC, and Johnny Robinson, Lexington, NC.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: his son Jody Michael Robinson, sisters; Francis Grindstaff, and Faye Buchanan Snyder, and brothers; Gary Robinson and Bill Robinson.

Military funeral honors will be conducted by Sgt. EL Randolph Chapter 57 DAV, in Pine Branch Baptist Church, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00PM.
