Dateline: Marion, NC

Doris Evelyn Hobson, of Marion, NC went home to be with the Lord December 13, 2017. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Fred and Edith Forbes Harrell. She was retired from Henredon Furniture and attended Vein Mountain Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Lewis Dean Hobson, of the home, one son Timothy Dean Hobson (Ellen), of Nebo, NC, one granddaughter Ashley Hobson, four sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Rich Magunson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at  Baxter Hobson Cemetery.
