Donald Lowell Ledford, age 73 of Hobson Rd, Bakersville, NC passed away November 3, 2017 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. A native of Mitchell County he was preceded in death by his parents Stokes and Willie Mae Weeks Ledford and his brother Kenneth Ledford. He was a member of Fork Mountain Baptist Church .

He is survived by a daughter Belinda Ledford Loven (Van), of Jonas Ridge, a brother Eugene (Gene) Ledford (Brenda), of Newdale, a sister Linda Snyder (Robert), of Hickory, grandsons: Nathaniel Loven (Maria), of Fayetteville, Micah Loven (Brittney), of Jonas Ridge, a great granddaughter Addlynn Grace Loven, also of Jonas Ridge, nieces and nephews: Terry Ledford, Nickie Snyder, Marty Ledford, Chris Snyder, Jody Ledford, Grady Ledford, and several cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 3:00PM in Fork Mountain Baptist Church with John McKinney and Andrew Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Burleson Cemetery .
