Donald Ray Hoilman, age 63 of Richmond Rd. Bakersville, NC passed away November 20, 2020. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a son of the late Bascomb Boyd and Dora Yelton Hoilman. He was retired from Hoilman Construction Company. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and repairing cars. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include: one son, Nicholas Love, of Spruce Pine, NC, two daughters; Penelope Hughes, of Goldsboro, NC, and Charlene Simpson, of Minnesota, one brother Doug Hoilman (Ann), of Johnson City, TN, four sisters; Shirley Garland (Gerald), Gail Lamb, all of Bakersville, NC, Doris Riddle (Gary) and Judy Wyant (Ron), all of Spruce Pine, NC, four grandchildren; Riley, Gracie, Sarah, and Aiden.

He was preceded in death by two sisters; Gladys Dykes, and Linnie Carter, and four brothers; Harold and Michael Hoilman, and Bill and Robert Yelton.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 1:00PM at Bailey Cemetery (John Sparks Rd) with Rev. Kent Murphy officiating.
