Dennis Frank Burleson age 73, of Duncan Loop, Bakersville, NC passed away September 7, 2021. He was a son of the late Frank and Gertrude Greene Burleson and was retired as a Truck Driver. He was a Veteran of The United States Army 101st Airborne Division serving in Vietnam.

Dennis attended Bear Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR racing.

Survivors include: his wife; Carolyn Kay Burleson, two daughters; Denise Barker and Crystal Tate, one sister; Sabra Byrd, and one brother; Royce Burleson, two grandchildren; Kayla Cook and Richard Cornett, and three great grandchildren; Lexie Cook, Nova Mills, and Jada Mills.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by: one grandchild; Dustin Cook.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00AM at Bear Creek Cemetery with Reverend Bruce Cannon officiating.
