Dateline: Bakersville, NC

Delores Chance, age 77, of Bud Boulevard, Bakersville, NC passed away October 31, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Plummer and Maybel Hodges Hill. She was retired from Baxter Healthcare in Marion, NC.

Delores enjoyed the beach, camping, and her dog "Patch" and she especially loved spending time with all her grandchildren.

Survivors include: one daughter, Kathy Ledford (Allan), one son, Will Chance, all of Bakersville, NC, one brother, William A. Hill, of Reidsville, NC, four very special grandchildren; Aaron Ledford (Rachael), Ryan Ledford (Tina), Lacey Ledford (Alex), and Austin Chance (Cary).

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Bud Chance.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
