Deborah Ann McKinney, 71, of Bakersville, NC, entered into rest on July 12, 2026. Born in Burke County, NC, she was the cherished daughter of the late James and Gladys Williams Blankenship.

Deborah dedicated her career to furniture manufacturing with Ethan Allen and Lexington Furniture, later working at Gateway Market in Bakersville, NC. A devoted member of New Day House of Prayer, she found great joy in spending time with her family, reading, and gardening.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Larry McKinney; her daughter, Heather McKinney and husband Scott of Oxford, NC; sister, Sherry Isley and husband Mike of Canton, NC; brother, Jerry Blankenship of Marion, NC; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, James Alan Blankenship.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
