Deanna Thomas age 76 of Hillcrest Drive, Bakersville, NC passed away November 9, 2022 at her home. She was a native of Burnsville, West Virginia and a daughter of the late Dee and Helen Stonestreet Ratliff. She was a member of Cross Memorial Baptist Church in Marion, NC. She was retired as a Registered Nurse and her career was her passion. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Holly Suiter (Larry), one brother Colan Ratliff (Grace), two sisters Pam Hadel (Sam), and Lisa Parish (Allan), five grandchildren Mallory Suiter, Kayla Blevins (Andy), Dylan Suiter, Dustin Suiter, and Carly Garcia (Jesse), four great grandchildren Wesson and Walker Blevins, Keaton and Kashton Garcia, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Charlie Thomas.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Beck officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
