David Ward Miller, passed away December 10, 2021. He was the son of the late George and Shirley Schwob Miller. David had a true love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and cooking. He also loved his dog "Dolly".

Survivors include: three sisters; Deborah Miller (William Porter Sr.) and Diane Sallo, both of Bakersville, NC, and Denise Guttendorf, of Maryville, TN, one niece Jessica Smith (Michael Smith), of Bakersville, NC, two nephews; Brian Porter (Faith Hensley Porter), of Green Mountain, NC, and Will Guttendorf, of Bakersville, NC, one great niece Taylor Smith, of Bakersville, NC, and one great nephew Caiden Guttendorf, of Spruce Pine, NC, and several aunts and uncles in Indiana.
