Danny Wayne Arrowood, age 68 of Chestnut Branch Rd., Bakersville, NC passed away October 13, 2023 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and was self employed in carpentry and construction. Danny enjoyed riding atv's, fishing, and outdoor activities.

He was preceded in death by his father Mack Henry Arrowood and his niece Tammy Carver.

Survivors include his mother Olean Arrowood, of Buladean, NC, three sisters: Ruth Carver, of Elizabethton, TN, Carolyn Chandley, of Johnson City, TN, and Dale Greene (Billy), of Jonesborough, TN, and two brothers; Douglas "Doug" Arrowood (Vivian), of Buladean, NC, and Brian Arrowood (Diane), of Hampton, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 3:00PM at The Arrowood Cemetery, off of Hughes Gap Road on Arrowood Lane in the Buladean Community. Reverend Jimmy Arrowood will officiate the service.
