Christopher Dean Hoilman, age 44 of Gouge Cove Rd, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord, December 28, 2017 . He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a Carpenter. He was a graduate of Mitchell High School and a former member of Bakersville Fire Department. He was also a member of Fork Mountain Baptist Church .

Survivors include: his wife Melissa Gouge Hoilman, of the home, his father and mother Dean and Sherry Hoilman, of Bakersville, NC, one daughter Alexis Diane Hoilman, and one son Christopher Isaac Hoilman, both of the home, two sisters; Kim Buchanan (Shane), of Bakersville, NC, and Shana Cook (Ryan), also of Bakersville, NC, father and mother in law Gene and Diane Gouge, of Bakersville, NC, sister in law Amanda Honeycutt (Trent), of Green Mountain, NC, three nieces, two nephews, and one great niece.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with John McKinney and Trent Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Gouge Cemetery ( Gouge Cove Rd ).
