Caroline Elizabeth Pitman, 73, a resident of Bakersville, NC passed away at home on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

She was born in Hartsville, SC on November 9, 1946, the oldest of two children to the late Hubert and Caroline Privette. Wife of 45 years to Sonny Pitman from Bakersville Elizabeth co-owned Water Professionals with her husband for 28 years; she was an accountant.

Survivors include one daughter Amanda DeZoort (Bakersville), and husband David, one son Jason Pitman and his wife Jamie. She was a grandmother to their three children: Jayce, Jonas, and Sydney (Cleveland, TN), her brother Jay Privette and his wife Linda (South Carolina), her niece Ann Privette and daughter Emma (Statesville, NC), her nephew Steve Privette, (Lebanon).

A private memorial service will be held in Bakersville. She will be missed deeply by everyone who knew her. She was a very kind person and loved animals. Elizabeth was a Christian and is now with her husband in Heaven.
