Carlos Buchanan, age 80. of George McKinney Rd, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord May 31, 2018. A native of Mitchell County, NC he was a son of the late Arnold and Mertie Buchanan. He was retired from Henredon Furniture and a member of McKinney Cove Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one daughter; Carla Buchanan, of Bakersville, NC a special friend; Teresa Wilson, two brothers; George Buchanan (Pauline), of Bakersville, NC, and Jim Buchanan, of Oklahoma, grandchildren; Bryan Burleson ( Ashley), Brandee Glass (Robert Glass Jr.), Brad Burleson (fiancé Leah Greene), six great grandchildren; Abigail, Jewell, and Courtney Burleson, Petar, Tomas, and Jakab Pajevic.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00PM in McKinney Cove Baptist Church with Todd Ayers, and Rickey Hollifield officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at McKinney Cove Cemetery.
