Carlene Gardner Duvall, age 75, of Fred Sparks Rd, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord, February 24, 2019. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC, and a daughter of the late Dave and Eva Byrd Gardner. She was a homemaker and a member of White Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her husband Paul Duvall, of the home, two sons; Joshlyn "Todd" Duvall and Tom Duvall, (Kim), all of Bakersville, NC, two grandchildren; Tyler and Tommy Duvall, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by: two sisters Lane and Jean, and a Duke Gardner.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Don Ford and Andrew McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Wilson Cemetery.
