Bryon Bailey, age 52 of Hwy 226, Spruce Pine, NC passed away May 11, 2015 at his home. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC.

Bryon was the owner and operator of Bailey Trucking. His hobbies included camping and woodworking. He had a love for all animals.

Survivors include his wife Tammy Pitman Bailey of the home, his mother Mary Lee Bailey of Spruce Pine, NC, a stepson Ty Hughes of Lenoir , NC , and a sister Angela Bailey Kindzia  and husband Paul of Atlanta, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his father Harry Richard "Dick" Bailey, and his maternal grandparents Melvin and Mae Silver.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 15, 2015 at 5:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Kenneth Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery.
